We live in an age when we want (and sometimes need) to access information at all times. This includes our own data and files — text documents, photographs, videos, music and more. That's why services like Dropbox and the cloud are so popular with the connected generation.
Originally introduced with OS X El Capitan, System Integrity Protection, usually referred to as SIP, is a security feature built into the Mac operating system that’s designed to protect most system locations, system processes, and Kernel extensions from being written to, modified, or replaced. Check compatibility If a macOS installer can't be used on your Mac, the installer will let you know. For example, it might say that it's too old to be opened on this version of macOS, or that your Mac doesn't have enough free storage space for the installation. There's probably two ways this could go, 1. They either allow iPad users to install macOS Big Sur later this year and announce the news at something like WWDC 2021 or 2. They merge the two OSs (i.e Mac OS and Ipad OS) with the next generation after Big Sur. Regardless, pretty cool to see the M1 in the new Ipad Pro.
Free of charge (with a paid upgrade option), Dropbox lets you upload your files to folders accessible anywhere there's an Internet connection. It eliminates the hassle of emailing yourself attachments and running into size limits. People can use Dropbox through the desktop app, mobile apps or via the web.
Dropbox is a simple service, but you may not realize there are several ways to amp up the user experience. You can 'favorite' files for offline reading, upload documents via URL, download torrents remotely so they're ready by the time you get home and more.
