  1. It had its Pear Cloud, Contacts, Music app, color profile, search, etc., everything along the same line as Apple’s macOS. But 4 years back, Pear OS suddenly announced its demise. Apparently, it was bought by an anonymous enterprise. Pear OS aside, we still have a few Linux distributions that are macOS lookalikes or inspired by macOS.
  2. Includes Mac OS X 10.10 or OS X 10.9 Update. The MacBook is silent as I minimized sound volume before it's failed to boot. I can't reset PRAM (Command, Option, P and R) but it's possible to reset SMC. The keyboard and trackpad appears not to be responsive. At the present, The Mac is running OSX 10.10.3.
