Hi Everyone! After the game jam's submission, 'Bye Ember' went through some changes and improvements, you can check out the details listed below:
- Fixed the low audio issue and added some new sound effects.
- Adjusted level layout (minor changes to level flow, obstacles and paths.)
- New tips display available at the loading screen.
- Pause menu screen upgrade (Look at Ember closely with a new pause camera!)
- Added control info display at the in-game UI and pause menu.
- Added a level timer display.
- New result screen at the end of the level (Challenge and beat your own personal time!)
- Movement speed and jumping height tweaks.
- Red fig branches now heal 15 hp, changed from 25hp.
- Added visual add-ons/level aesthetics.
- PC version now has an installer setup.

Streamlined software utility for capturing and organizing screenshots
The user can interact with the Ember application in two ways: via the app’s main window, or by using the associated status bar menu. The first one allows you to organize your images, while the latter offers you the possibility to capture screenshots.
Ember is able to grab full screen captures, instantly or by using a timer, but also area or window snaps. In addition, you can use the app to make video recording. For your convenience, Ember provides hotkeys for each function.
Manage your image library and browse your favorite website for new entries
Within the Ember main window you have the option to organize your image library into various collections, but the app also includes various smart folders: screen, web, photo, tablet, phone, video, bookmark, and so on. Note that Ember automatically scans an image that is added to the library and assigns it to the correct folder.
Furthermore, Ember comes with a built in RSS reader and a web browser: this way you can monitor your favorite website or explore new ones in search for beautiful images to be added to your collection (any picture can be added to the Ember library via the contextual menu).
